The stand is sturdy enough, the folding parts are well built and you don't have to make a lot of effort to fold and unfold it. The stand is actually good-looking, the "chrome" is natural polished steel (a bit shiny but not cheap paint) and the plastic pieces don't stand out. When unfolded and regulated, it does stay in position even when you have a heavy folder on it.
You can regulate the height, the sheet angle and spin it around. It also has a sort of clip to keep the sheets in their place. When folded it can be stored in relatively small spaces.
I was very pleased with the product. Costing less than £13, I thought it would look cheap and clunky but I' happy to say that I was wrong.

Compact, lightweight yet fairly sturdy, nice little storage bag. All in all, fantastic quality for a budget buy music stand. Easy and quick to assemble and very portable.
Only one word of warning: as a lightweight stand, this is not really suitable for outdoor use if there is a breeze. It will fly over fairly easily. However, you can get around this is with a little ballast over the bottom legs!
